Max has a new activities program for November.
A popular activity is movie and pizza night. Watching movies in English is a great way to improve your listening skills, it’s fun and you get to meet other students from the school.

Welcome October 22 Starters
Welcome all our new starters this week. We hope that you are settling in to the Byron way of life.
Don’t forget to come to the school party tonight, its a great way to meet the other students and have some fun.
Halloween Party Tonight
We are having another party tonight to celebrate Halloween.
It’s here at school on the balcony – so dress up, have fun and speak English!!!
Max, Michael and a surprise singer will entertain everybody with some hit songs.
This is a school event for BBELS and ex BBELS students only.

Farmers’ Market
What a beautiful day to go to the farmers’ market in Byron Bay.
The elementary class had an excellent lesson today, lots of questions for the stall holders.
The students had a chance to taste some strange fruit and learn new vocabulary.
The best think about the market is that everything is grown in Byron Bay.
Shopping & Rock Climbing on the Gold Coast
Max decided to take a group of students shopping on the Gold Coast followed by rock climbing!!!
Everybody had a great time with a bit if retail therapy and exercise.
If you want to do either of these activities talk to Max.
Welcome October 15 Starters
It was nice to welcome a small group of students to the BBELS family on Monday.
We hope you all make lots of new friends and enjoy all that BBELS and Byron Bay has to offer.
Elementary’s Cooking Class
There were lovely aromas coming from the kitchen today as the Elementary class cooked up a feast. With lots of different nationalities there were lots of interesting dishes to choose from.
Cooking classes are one of the schools best activities as the students get to use all the vocabulary they have learnt as well as enjoying a wonderful lunch.
BBELS BUDDEEEEEEEEEE NITE!!!
It was an amazing night on Friday night, with one of the biggest buddy nights yet!!!
The band was great with Tom, Michael, Tim and Max playing.
The food was fantastic – thank you Luke at Cafe Oska.
All students are matched with a buddy from another country, that way everyone makes new friends and speaks English.
The BBQ is a free event for all BBELS students.
Welcome October 8 Starters
We had a busy day on Monday with lots of starters for our new 4 week block. Students came from all over the world;Switzerland, Korea, Spain, Italy, Japan, Brazil, France and Taiwan. We hope you all have a wonderful time at BBELS.
Cooking Class Monday
Pre-Intermediate B had a cooking class on Monday – the class has students from Japan, Switzerland, The Czech Republic, Spain, Brazil and France, meaning there were lots of great dishes from all over the world!!!
Byron Bay English Language School
