We love it when students make movies, this is one of the best ones I’ve ever seen. Giada Azenton, our Italy student made it as a farewell movie for her fellow classmates. Thanks Giada, it’s fantastic!!!

FCE, CAE & IELTS CLASSES STARTING 10 SEPTEMBER

We have First Certificate in English FCE, Cambridge Advanced English CAE and International English Language Testing System IELTS classes starting from the 10 September.
Our Cambridge and IELTS classes are always very popular due to our wonderful teachers, the course and you the students.
There is not much about Cambridge and IELTS that our teachers don’t know. Frank the Cambridge coordinator is also a Cambridge examiner and Liese is an IELTS examiner.

Buddy BBQ Friday Night.
Friday night was the ‘Buddy BBQ’. Students were matched up with students from different countries, courses and gender. They had a great BBQ at the Cafe with their buddies, and then it was upstairs for music and fun.
The ‘Buddy BBQ’ is without a doubt one of our most popular evenings.
Last week of Cambridge
This year in June we had our first ever winter Cambridge course. The students came from Brazil, Italy, The Czech Republic, Switzerland and Korea. Making it a great group of students. They studied hard and their teacher Frank thought they were the best!!!
On Friday we let them out of the school to have an excursion to Minyon Falls.
Today they have the speaking exam and on Thursday and Friday the written exams.
To say goodbye we are having our infamous ‘Buddy BBQ’. All students are paired up with a student from a different nationality, you will have a nice dinner together at the Cafe, then upstairs for some live music and dancing.

Study Tours Activities
We have had lots of study tour groups here at the Byron Bay English Language School, the weather has been wonderful. They have had some great times, learnt a lot about Australia and Byron Bay and have studied English of course. Here are some photos of the fun things they did during the two weeks they were here.
Byron Bay Lighthouse
It was a beautiful day for a walk to the lighthouse. It took a long time but the students enjoyed walking through the rainforest, along the beach, over the Pass and up the road to the Lighthouse!!!
Big Day Out
Pre-Intermediate had a Big Day Out with a trip to Broken Head and a walk around the coastline. The Beach Hotel for conversation and coffee and finally the bus trip back to school.
Beautiful Byron and the BBELS Life!
Watching this video it is easy to see why students love to study at BBELS, it is a small family run school; most of the teachers are local so they can take you to some amazing places in the school van, Minyon Falls, Broken Head and Lennox Head. It is great to see all the different nationalities hanging out together inside and outside of school.
