Oska Cafe
Oska Cafe is now under new management. The new owner, Luke, lived in Japan for one and a half years and so the menu has a lot of delicious Japanese-inspired food. During the cool winter months we hope that you will try their warming soups, curries, and burgers.
If you are vegetarian or vegan Luke is also happy to cook for you. The cafe always has deleicious vegetarian and vegan meals for you to enjoy.
Oska Cafe has already become a favourite place with the BBELS staff. We hope that you like it too.

Cooking Class 2012
Every 12 weeks the students have the chance to do a cooking class at school. It is always a fun day as students cook their ‘national’ or favourite dish. Here we have some great photos, taken by Ana, from the pre-intermediate class.

“MAXtivities”
Max has been working at BBELS for years now! His most popular afternoon activity is probably beach volleyball and his most awesome trip is Fraser Island. He is Pretty good at Ping Pong and poker as well, so don’t bet against him.
He has an excellent activity schedule for this month. If you have any questions ask Max.
Currumbin
It was a great day at Currumbin!!! The pre-intermediate and elementary class had a wonderful presentation from Brendan at the education centre; they met an owl, a blue-tongue lizard, a python snake, and Banksia the cutest golden brush tail possum.
