This week in the Australian Studies class, Mick took his students to Thursday Plantation.  Students were shown how Tea Tree is extracted and made into a range of beauty and medicinal products. After Thursday Plantation students went to the Tea Tree Lake in Lennox head to wade in the dark tea tree water. Tea tree has been used for thousands of years by Aboriginal people and now by Australians.
