Cambridge Graduation

All good things must come to an end and so we had to say goodbye to the Cambridge classes of September 2011.
In true BBELS style we ended the course with a BBQ at Clarke’s beach and a graduation ceremony.

This year we had the First Certificate (FCE) in English class taught by Robin, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) taught by Frank and Lisa and Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) taught by Frank and Deborah.

It was a bit windy at Clarke’s however; everybody had a great time with plenty of sausages to go around

Welcome all our new students!

We would like to welcome all our new students from all over the world.
We hope you have a great time studying at BBELS, the weather is getting warmer, the whales are making their long trip back to Antarctica, the water is warm and it is a great time to be studying at BBELS.

CAMBRIDGE CLASS JUNE 09

Good luck to the 34 Cambridge students who are sitting their exams this week.

It was a great end to a fantastic course. Graduation on Friday started as a sad affair, we had many tears, lots of kisses and hundreds of photos taken as students collected their certificates and said goodbye to new friends and their teachers. Frank & Robin’s CAE class got together and sang a wonderful song, about a lemon tree!  I am sure if you are Swiss you may know what I am talking about.

Everybody then went over to the Railway Friendly bar for a quick drink before heading home to get ready for the famous Friday Night BBQ. Oska Cafe served up lots of yummy food; the Korean girls sang another beautiful song. Students and teachers alike ‘let down their hair’.
