Cambridge Proficiency of English exams
Congratulations to our first two CPE students Wouter and Suzanne who finished their CPE exams in Brisbane, it was another long day of testing. They both seemed happy with the exam and we are hoping they get the results they want.

Cambridge Graduation
All good things must come to an end and so we had to say goodbye to the Cambridge classes of September 2011.
In true BBELS style we ended the course with a BBQ at Clarke’s beach and a graduation ceremony.
This year we had the First Certificate (FCE) in English class taught by Robin, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) taught by Frank and Lisa and Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) taught by Frank and Deborah.
It was a bit windy at Clarke’s however; everybody had a great time with plenty of sausages to go around

Halloween Party BBELS Style
It’s on again tonight at school the annual BBELS Halloween party. There will be prizes for the best dressed, so get your costumes on, paint your face and get ready to have some fun.

The Lighthouse at Byron Bay
Upper-intermediate class enjoyed a trip to the lighthouse. Nico from Italy, who is leaving after 4 weeks, hadn’t seen the lighhouse!
Everyone decided it was about time.
