The Byron Bay Writers Festival is a great place to go if you are interested in writing. Famous authors from around the world and Australia give talks about writing, discuss important issues and have workshops on how to write. It is a great chance to improve your listening skills and become involved in a community event. Go along to one of the sessions or buy a ticket for 1- 3 days.
It is that time of year again, when the party comes to Byron Bay. Splendour in the Grass is one of the best festivals in Australia. Now in its 9th year, Splendour returns on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July at Byron Bay’s Belongil Fields to present its yearly mid-winter music celebration. Tickets have already sold out but look in the Echo or ask Max. If you love music then this is a must see event. There will also be lots of other music playing around Byron Bay.
