With over 40 short stories to read it was a very hard competition to judge. I got help from Max and Jay-Dea and of course the teachers. The theme of the competition was the Ocean; most entries also had an environmental theme which was nice to read and know that BBELS students care so much about the environment and the Ocean. Congratulations to everybody who entered. Please read all the winning stories on the blog.
The winner of the competition was
Rafaela Dos Santos the Ocean the Ocean
The three second place winners were:
Jonathan Dos Santos Kiki: Apprentice Surfer Ray Tanaka A seagull Yu Rou Liou the Ocean The Ocean

Last week short stories started arriving on my desk. I was very happy with the number of stories, the imagination and great ideas. We decided that Pascal’s story was so good that we would give it a special prize as he was leaving on Friday. Please click on the link and read it for yourself.
