“On Shifting Sandshoes follows a group of friends as they try and survive a few days trapped on a camping trip due to cyclonic conditions.
‘This is the pre-mobile phone era. Being cut off was a bit more serious! It puts the relationships under stress, and the play turns from light comedy to dark comedy. When you are camping your existence is more fragile – the weather is like another character.’” (Byron Shire Echo 14 July 2009).
